WHAT: Autumn’s Eve Dinner
Cleveland Botanical Garden guests will once again dine exceedingly well — and casually — under the September sky at an Autumn’s Eve Dinner on Thursday, September 22. The dinner is a kickoff for the Garden’s RIPE! Fest No 2 — a food and garden festival sponsored by PNC running September 23 – 25 at the Garden in University Circle. (Autumn arrives on September 23.)
Trading in tuxedos and ball gowns for a place at a long, burlap-clad communal table, guests will feast on a 4-course meal sourced innovatively and locally from Ohio farms as well as the six satellite locations comprising the Garden’s Green Corps urban farms, which are located in six distinct Cleveland neighborhoods. Chefs Douglas Katz of fire food & drink, Tony Smoody of Bon Appétit, and Ben Bebenroth of Spice of Life Catering Co., have designed a meal taking full advantage of September’s bounty, including:
